time to wrap up guillemots here and spitcake. i finally got to hear the album in it's entirety today...and it's brilliant! it's definitely a more raucous album than 'through the windowpant.' that's not to same they've abandoned their blueprint, but rather they've expanded ye olde sonic palette. they've incorporated lot's more 'world music' sounds and beats, and given that the four members of the band come from four different countries, it seems fitting, doesn't it?

so, like i said, 'red' hits UK shelves on monday. it's supposed to drop stateside sometime this fall. keep your fingers crossed with me that they'll tour the US. when they do, let's all form a caravan and follow them 'cross country. i mean, shoot, if sir ian mckellan wanted to be in the new video, hey...
