'hearts on fire' | cut copy
in this day and age where music seems to be influenced by technology more than anything else, is there a more appropriately named band that australia's cut copy? i think not.
i admit that their new album, 'in ghost colours,' is one i've been waiting the last three years for. it was totally worth the wait. it's pretty clear they've worship at the altar of new order [as do i], as there's a hint of good, old-fashioned 80s techno in the sound. i, of course, love that stuff and you should do because, hey, it's rad. so do yourself a favor and check 'em out. oh, and by the way, they'll be rolling through salt lake city may 2. hope to see you there.
'in ghost colours' drops april 8 and can be yours for $7.99 on amazon.com.

If The Swell Season hadn't stolen the limelight for me on May 2 (Depot show), I'd so be there. Unless they're playing a later show at Urban, that is?
